SKILLAIR Filters
The filter removes solid and liquid impurities from compressed air using a centrifugation system that drives heavier particles to the container walls. ;Residual impurities are trapped by a porous filter element, while condensate can be discharged manually or through automatic systems. Transparent windows allow 360° visual monitoring of condensate levels.
SKILLAIR active carbon filter
Activated Carbon Filter ;Ensures purified air free from oils, solvents, hydrocarbons and odors, using porous carbon granules to absorb contaminants. For optimal performance, inlet air must be pre-filtered at 5 ?m and cleaned down to 0.01 ?m. The cartridge must be replaced regularly, as no pressure drop indicates saturation. Pressure loss (?P) should not exceed 75 mbar.
SKILLAIR Regulators
This system provides greater stroke and valve opening, resulting in higher flow. It reduces dynamic friction, enhancing sensitivity and response speed, while lowering stress to extend membrane life (down to 0.45 mm versus 1–1.5 mm standard). It also ensures greater accuracy in maintaining set pressure under variable flows or supply pressures and quickly releases downstream overpressure.
SKILLAIR 100 In-series regulators
Several of these Skillair® regulators can be mounted in series, all fed by the same pressure. They can give different set pressures, each independent of the previous regulator.Operating compressed air can be taken from the pressure gauge ports (G 1/8”).
SKILLAIR Pilot regulator
Pilot Regulator. ;The pilot regulator is designed for applications requiring high pressure accuracy under varying operating conditions. It is especially suited as a precision regulator for flows below 100 Nl/min or as a pilot for large regulators (e.g. REG 400). Its performance relies on the near absence of friction, ensuring high accuracy and low hysteresis.
SKILLAIR Filter-regulators
Combined Filter-Regulator. ;This unit combines a filter and pressure regulator, delivering high flow rates with low pressure drops. The rolling diaphragm ensures greater flow, stability and sensitivity, with quick downstream overpressure relief and consistent regulated pressure despite line variations. It provides maximum condensate separation, 360° visual monitoring, and manual, semi-automatic or automatic drain options.
SKILLAIR Lubricators
The pneumatic lubricator ensures proper lubrication of actuators, using the Venturi effect to draw oil from the bowl. Flow is adjusted via a needle valve, and the oil is carried through the circuit with the air stream, ensuring efficient and long-lasting operation of all connected components.
SKILLAIR Depurator
The role of the depurator is to separate the liquid and solid particles contained in the compressed air with a high degree of efficiency. This separation is carried out using a special filtering element called a “coalescence cartridge”.
SKILLAIR Shut-off valves
Circuit Shut-off Valve ;The shut-off valve isolates the circuit from the main supply and vents the downstream system, making it ideal for maintenance operations. It is a 3-way valve available in a manual version, lockable with a padlock, and in a pilot-operated version for low-pressure use.
SKILLAIR Progressive starter
Progressive Valve. ;Available with electric or pneumatic control, it manages airflow progressively. The STD version uses a balanced valve that fully opens once downstream pressure reaches about 50% of upstream pressure. Pneumatic or electro-pneumatic versions allow initial flow through a needle valve and, upon external signal, open the main passage at full flow, without venting the downstream circuit.
SKILLAIR Air intakes
Air Take-off. The air take-off allows air to be drawn from the Skillair® FRL unit at different treatment stages (normal, filtered, reduced, lubricated). It can also be used as a standalone module, acting as a distributor through threaded ports, with unlimited modularity.
SKILLAIR Pressure switches
Skillair® Pressure Switches Compact and stylish, Skillair® pressure switches can be installed anywhere on the unit, even upside down. Supplied pre-wired, they are available with a 2 m cable or an M8 connector with 300 mm cable. They feature changeover contact (NO/NC), push-lock adjustment knob, and an optional threaded air port.
Drier SKILLAIR
Skillair® diaphragm driers lower the dew point to reduce air moisture. Their new cross-fibre system minimizes regenerated air consumption, saving energy. The all-in-one unit includes a filter, purifier, air intake and drier, so only the required amount of compressed air is dried, improving efficiency. A drier-only version is also available. Thanks to Skillair® modularity, it can be integrated into any setup, provided the inlet air is properly filtered and purified. For best performance, operation at the highest possible pressure is recommended.
SKILLAIR Adapter sub-bases and bases
The adapter base is used to adapt the Skillair® FRL system to various assemblies without affecting modularity or servicing. If you use the universal adopter base plus the intermediate plate, you can assemble several elements of different sizes.
