HDM + multi-pole connection
HDM Valves HDM combines the modularity of Multimach with extra strength and IP65 protection. The reinforced technopolymer shell resists shocks, dirt and frequent washing. All pneumatic connections are on one side with built-in quick fittings, while the user interface stays easily accessible. The system is fully modular: from 1 to 16 valves, with separate supply and exhaust options and free combination of three different sizes. Replacement is quick and automatic electrical connection makes installation simple. With the best flow-to-size ratio, HDM sets the standard for efficiency and compactness.
HDM + AS-Interface
HDM + AS-Interface. HDM+AS-Interface integrates electronics, indicators and AS-I connectors into the inlet terminal, ensuring compactness and IP65 robustness. Converting an HDM multipole island to AS-I requires only replacing the inlet, while retaining full flexibility: multiple valve sizes, intermediate modules, Ø 4–10 mm fittings and reinforced technopolymer housing. Available in 1- or 2-node versions, managing up to 8 solenoids and inputs, with M8/M12 connectors and power via yellow AS-I cable or dual cable.
HDM + PROFIBUS-DP
HDM + PROFIBUS-DP. The HDM+PROFIBUS-DP system integrates electronics, indicators and connectors into the inlet terminal, making it compact and robust with an IP65 aluminum housing that protects delicate components. Converting a multipole island to PROFIBUS-DP requires only replacing the inlet, while retaining HDM flexibility: different valve sizes with Ø 4–10 mm fittings, intermediate modules with separate supply or exhaust, and reinforced technopolymer protective shells. Functional design keeps user interface and bus on one side, pneumatic connections on the other, and electrical connectors with selectors at the island head.
HDM + EtherNet/IP
HDM + EtherNet/IP. The HDM+EtherNet/IP system integrates electronics, indicators and connectors into the inlet terminal, ensuring compactness and robustness with an IP65 aluminum housing that shields internal components. Converting a multipole island to EtherNet/IP simply requires replacing the inlet, while retaining all HDM advantages: different valve sizes with Ø 4–10 mm fittings, intermediate modules with separate supplies or exhausts, and reinforced technopolymer protective shells. The user interface and bus are located on one side, pneumatic connections on the other, with electrical connectors and selectors positioned at the island head.
HDM + CANopen
HDM + CANopen. The HDM+CANopen system integrates electronics, indicators and connectors into the inlet terminal, ensuring compactness and robustness with an IP65 aluminum housing that protects internal components. Two versions are available: one managing up to 16 outputs and one with 16 outputs plus 8 inputs, with M12 connectors allowing two inputs each. Following the HDM design, the user interface is on one side, pneumatic connections on the other, with electrical connectors and selectors at the island head.
HDM + B&R
B&R’s FORMULA X system, described as a decentralized backplane, manages analog and digital I/O signals locally or remotely and interfaces with Multimach and HDM valve islands. Available modules, in 8-, 16- or 24-signal versions, can be configured as Input, Output or mixed I/O. Each module features four connections: signal input, signal output, 24 VDC power input and power output for subsequent modules.
